Cathy had such a loving, giving heart, and shielded everyone from the battles she faced. Her joy came from her family, friends, her fur babies, and from helping others, My time at LES was made richer by her friendship and watching her lovingly care for all of us. She knew the students so well and was such a positive influence for all. While I am so saddened by her passing, I’m thankful her suffering is over! I know she’s made heaven a brighter, happier place with her laughter and her Jersey accent with just a hint of southern drawl! I can’t wait to have “coiffee” again with her one day, but until then I will thank God for this dear lady and remember her light and love!

I keep thinking this week that I want to tell her, “I miss your smiling face!” This phrasea, ways was special to me. Your mother touched so many lives with her love. Compassion, loyalty and sense of humor. I hope your love for one another and your memories will make this sad time a little easier.

Mrs. Taylor was such a blessing to us at LES!! She brightened everyone’s day with her puppets, greeting us as we arrived to school. My students couldn’t wait for guidance. My own children loved her dearly!! My prayers are with her family!! Know how much she was loved at LES!!

Cathy was one of the strongest and most positive people I have ever known, and had that great “Jersey” attitude! She loved you boys, and Shorty too – and was so happy to have grandchildren here and on the way!

Every morning I would walk in and she would have a big smile on her face greeting both LES teachers and students as they started their day. I had the privilege of teaching across the hallway from Cathy. I’m so sorry for your loss and her family will be in my prayers.
