Funeral service for Mrs. Annelle Pettie Perry, age 60, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Staton and Bro. Billy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart’s Cemetery. Mrs. Perry passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Perry was a native of Madison Co., AL, the daughter of Dorothy Nell Henderson Pettie and the late James Austin Pettie. She was an LPN at the Lincoln County Health Facilities for 27 years. She was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church and she enjoyed crafts and photography.
Survivors include her daughters Faith Riner, Raven (Dakota) Perry Phillips all of Fayetteville, TN, granddaughter SherryAnn Riner, grandson Jackson Phillips, step-granddaughters Lia Antonio, Anna Antonio, one step-great grandchild, brothers Jimmy Pettie, Gordon (Karen) Pettie, sisters Vickie (Tommy) Taylor and Sherri (Patrick) Hatley, best friend Kathy (Jerry) Marr, her beloved dog Minnie and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by brothers James Bartlett Pettie and Donny Pettie.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

Annelle was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She loved without expectations everyone in her life. I loved to hear her talk about our families history and felt it was so important to know where you came from. She was a humble, loving person to everyone and I will miss her terribly. Gid be with her family and give comfort and peace and may we all remember we were all better for having known her.
